How to change date-entry form field on View?

I have installed CCK, Views, Date, and several other modules. I have created a View to a new content type that contains 'date' fields. The 'date' fields are exposed filters for the view, and the form entry at the top of the actual View displays very wide text-entry boxes for date searches.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make those date entry fields smaller on the view form?
