OK, here is an update: Deleted all of the DrupalVB folder, reuploaded it, copied the config.php file to the directory, and settings.php has the dbase info into it.

When DrupalVB is turned on, I get this in a pink block on my front page:

warning: _drupalvb_fetch_config(config.php) [function.-drupalvb-fetch-config]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/web10/b2812/pow.twr/htdocs/modules/tracker/drupalvb/drupalvb.inc.php on line 54.

When i try to administer DrupalVB under Drupal VB Admin, it loads a blank page!

Im about to pull all of my hair out!

The config.php file is there, the database is set properly in the settings.php and the license is put into the file. I have even deleted the entire folder and reuploaded new files... still nothing!

This sucks, i wish someone had an answer.

This is the one downfall to opensource software, support is seriously lacking. I understand though, its tough being busy.

It looks to me like you don't have the config file copied into the Drupal vB module folder.

The install instructions are a little confusing on this step. You must copy your config file that is in /vbulletin/includes/ to your /drupal/drupalvb folder.

If you do indeed have it there, then check the permissions and ownership of the file.

I'm honestly not sure why the path stuff is working for you. You can try replacing line 54 (or whatever line has the require_once on it) with the following:

require_once(drupal_get_path('module', 'drupalvb') . '/config.php');

(And you're right.. unfortunately I'm really busy w/ the release of Ubercart lately. I've been reading your posts in the emails, but haven't had the time to fully investigate the issues here. :( )

Ok... updates. I found out the issue. I accidently copied an extra drupalVB onto the modules folder under the "Tracker" folder. deleted it, now it seems to work a bit better... but not yet. I also found that i put the wrong reference to the mysql database, i used ['vb'] instead of ['vbulletin'] bedcause thats what i named my db.... now heres the next issue:

One or more problems were detected with your Drupal installation. Check the status report for more information.
user warning: Table 'vb.datastore' doesn't exist query: SELECT data FROM datastore WHERE title = 'options' in /hermes/web10/b2812/pow.twr/htdocs/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172.
user warning: Table 'vb.post' doesn't exist query: SELECT p.postid, p.title, p.threadid, p.username, t.title AS threadtitle FROM post AS p LEFT JOIN thread AS t ON(p.threadid = t.threadid) WHERE p.dateline >= 1174677069 ORDER BY p.dateline DESC LIMIT 0, 5 in /hermes/web10/b2812/pow.twr/htdocs/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172.

Now, i can get in but there isnt much to configure and when you click "view forums" or anything it refers me right to the main page again. So that wont work!

PS the block above only is visible when any forum related block is activated.

this error is because you have bad your settings.php

around line 87

comment your lines and paste the followin

$db_url['default'] = 'mysql://username:password@localhost/drupal';
$db_url['vbulletin'] = 'mysql://username:password@localhost/vbforum';

just replace: username, pass & database name for both :)

its workin for me
im using vbulletin 3.6.5 & drupal 5.1

Best regards,
Matias
