The current instructions on the issue summary handbook page suggest including your username in the "log message" field to work around the "drupal flaming pos" bug (#1217286: Posting a comment changes too many issue node revision properties).

It would probably be good if dreditor appended the current user's name in the log message field so it reads something like:
(xjm) Updated issue summary.

We could get the username from the HTML title of the user's dashboard. Find dashboard tab -> fetch HTML -> grab the title tag.
