In the Drupal 6.x version, I used page-front.tpl.php to alter my front page.
What is the equivalent for the 7.x version?

In Drupal 7, the filename you use is "page--front.tpl.php" -- note the two hyphens. (If it's still not working after you save the new file, make sure you clear your cache!)

  • page-content_type.tpl.php
  • page-node-242.tpl.php
