auto-switch to premium status won't work

First off, here is the necessary information:

Drupal 4.7.6 (Clean & no other modules installed)
MySQL 5
PHP 5.1.5
IIS 6

Ok. Actually I've set the premium mode to "Protect archives only" with "1" (count) and "Days" (Unit). In other words, any node with the premium checkbox "ON" will switch to premium status after 1 day. The 1st day of the published node, the full text should be available to the public. Then the following day, the node will switch to premium where only authorized users can view full text.

However, I've tested it on my local machine. The node is permanently restricted to public user regardless of the setting I've set (i.e. 1st day = viewable by public, following days = not viewable by public).

I think the issue posted at http://drupal.org/node/112127 is a similar issue but there is no response on that.

Any help? I can provide more information if required.
