Showing related content

Hi

I would like to automatically show on a given recipe page in a block or other way links to or teasers of related content, say based on tag or taxonomy term.
An example, I have different versions of a particular recipe or those sharing some other common characteristic.

Is there any existing module (other than related content module) or any other known way of doing this? If not, how can this be achieved by a non-coder?

I have seen some folks using the recipe module display related recipes, including pictures, if I'm not mistaken ...
