Active modules on both sites?
tombyang commentedTook a look at the code for the module file, and the IP for Google translate only points to Google's main page, so it's not finding anything to connect to. The log files as well say that every translation attempt failed, and that the return value was nothing.

icecreamyou commentedSame problem, Drupal 5.5, PHP 5.2.5, MySQL 5.0.45, Apache/2 webserver. I've got a ton of modules installed but not one of them messes with the language or the way the page displays. Everything was correctly installed and such. If I translate my website manually from the Google Translate page, it works just fine.

eodonnell commentedSame issue here - Drupal 5.12 | MySQL 5.0.45 | PHP 5.1.6

avpadernoI am closing this issue, since Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 are now not supported.
