Hey everyone :)

Ive been developing websites around Wordpress for a couple of years and know how to throw a theme together pretty well for Wordpress.

I hoped (nay prayed) that Drupal would be a similar system, but, sadly, its VERY different and I cannot seem to get my head around it?

I understand a little bit. For example at one point I thought I could use the views and blocks module to create my DIV areas but this seemed a bit wrong as it would put undue strain on my database (is this right?).

So, back to square one, can anyone, that has used Wordpress and switched throw any advice into this thread!?

I have no wordpress experience or much drupal experience for that matter but a good starting point can be found here
