After installing, the 'Document Task' and 'Document Concept' CCK content types were not available. I had to manually import the CCK definitions from definitions provided in the module's CCK subdirectory, which worked fine. After I imported them manually, they appear to be properly recognized as CCK content types provided by code (that is, the option to delete them is not provided in the CCK UI.
It appears from searching d.o that the problem of module-provided CCK content types not being recognized until they are created manually is fairly common with certain techniques for creating them (in D6 anyway). It wasn't obvious to me if there was an accepted best practice that avoids this issue.
