Currently there are several on going projects using AJAX integration within drupal ie Ahah Forms

there is also some work on an API for deletion of nodes

What I am wondering is there any current development work for creating and deleting node interactively ie rather than reloading a page confirming removal, a node can be deleted in a pop up div - extension of these is that content can be created in a similar fashion

is it possible to incorporate a dynamic creation and deletion system into the structure of how nodes are created and destroyed

any one any ideas

At this point, no new features will be added to D6. If you think Drupal 8 needs this feature, please assign this issue to D8.

Since there hasn't been movement in 9+ years going to say it's outdated.

If still a valid feature please reopen and see what needs to be done for D10 and up. Seems this was opened for D6 so not sure the level of interest really.
