Issue Summary
It would be a great time saving for every one that is only interested in full releases of modules (non dev, or betas or alphas) if aditional filtering implemented which hides all modules that have "dev" or "beta" associated with them.
is that even possible? please reply so i know whether i should spend more time tracking this issue or just let it go.
thank you.

definitely possible. but, it'd take a little work, and there are other project filtering ideas that will probably be more exciting coming out of this year's summer of code proposal on project quality metrics. so, it might not happen particlarly soon. but, i agree it'd be a nice way to filter your view of modules (and penalize maintainers who are unwilling to make official releases). so don't lose hope. ;)

I think the best approach to this is to help maintainers to stamp out the bugs that stop them from creating full releases.
