The module appears to cancel the 'Create Content' permission for the content-type selected to use as comments (even as user/1).
Therefore when trying to 'add translation' (which I guess is creating content) it returns 'Access denied'.

crea commentedI guess you tried to use "node/add/comment" type of link without the parent node context and it didn't work. It's not a bug and is documented in README.
