Very large files are prone to upload interruptions. It’d frustrated (read: not acceptable) by the users to re-upload. In this respect, I was wondering if the module can be enhanced to support resume uploads / upload in chunks.

Not sure if the request should be post here, or against mediafield.module as I'm interested in video, so I'm going to do both (sorry for the hassle).

until http/php support this, filefield will not.

I like to pursue a bit further though - does someone know of a php project that implement "resume upload'? Any leads would be appreciated.
