Very large files are prone to upload interruptions. It’d frustrated (read: not acceptable) by the users to re-upload. In this respect, I was wondering if the module can be enhanced to support resume uploads / upload in chunks.

Not sure if the request should be post here, or against mediafield.module as I'm interested in video, so I'm going to do both (sorry for the hassle).

This should be implemented as a core feature for uploads or a module for uploads in chunks. Huge amount of work. But if it done all Drupal uploads can use it (upload.module, filefield, mediafield, etc.)
