copy menu items to imagemenu?

I want to have 2 versions of my site: one on desktop and one on mobile.
I want to have an icon bar on the mobile version and a text bar on the desktop version.
Using imagemenu, I just created a 2-icon bar that I think is really cool; no I want it to give access to the same entries as the menu.
Is there any way of synchronizing the imagemenu items with the primary menu items, or copy/pasting items from the primary menu into the imagemenu? I also have access control restrictions on the menu items.
