I get the following error message when emptying the cache
Strict warning: Declaration of efq_views_handler_filter_entity_label::op_empty() should be compatible with that of views_handler_filter_string::op_empty() in require_once() (line 11 of C:\xampp\htdocs\drupal77\sites\all\modules\efq_views\handlers\efq_views_handler_filter_entity_label.inc).

Not just when emptying cache. Anytime module states change (any module), this occurs.

efq_views needs a big update for the latest Views code. Hoping to devote it time next week.

Not sure. This is not really a priority, though I want to return to it.
I don't think there's anything that you actually need efq_views for, and can't use normal Views instead...
