Possibly related to #730164: Poormanscron doesn't appear in admin/build/modules/uninstall, since I am not 100% sure I actually uninstalled the module some time ago.
Anyway, as per subject: I find "page not found" log entries on poormanscron/run-cron-check at random intervals.
I suppose that removing the menu item would do the trick but I am unsure how to do it safely via code.

What is the best way to solve this problem?

I've get the same error recently.

I disabled and uninstalled the module, but the error still appears frequently.
