Thank you for this great theme. I've used it 'as is' for my website and I'll theme it when I'm done building the functionality. Very soon.....

This project will have a related group site and I'm using Commons as the base. I'm curious though - Is it possible to use Framework for Commons? It would be nice if it's possible to theme them similarly in some ways - although not in every way. I don't know the best way to go about theming two related sites at once. Would you be able to give me any pointers on this?

I've never used Commons personally, but I don't see why it would not work. Framework simply provides basic layout files and css. If Commons needs some custom styling or functions, I'm sure that would have to be written by the user, just as with any other customization of Framework. Commons seems like a rather complex system, and I'm sure many things would be left completely unthemed by Framework, but I don't plan on doing heavy support for specific modules/installation profiles, as Framework really is just a base theme. You should be able to adapt Commons-specific CSS from it's included themes into Framework by just copying those parts into the Framework stylesheet and then do a bit of tweaking to get the look you need.

However, if you find that Framework is somehow fundamentally incompatible with Commons, please update this issue. Thanks!
