Does anyone know of ongoing/available work to integrate the thanks module with userpoints?

Two use cases:

1. Grant thanked user point(s) for each thanks received.

2. Grant thanking user point(s) for giving thanks.

Would love to build off existing work before coding it ourselves (which will be contributed back). Thanks in advance!

I would totally use a module for userpoints module integration. If I could code I would.

Im not involved in drupal anymore so I wont be working on this module in future. If you want to take over the module feel free to do so.

I've attached two files :
- thanks.patch : adds the necessary hooks to interact with thanks module with external modules
- userpoints_thanks.zip : implements the integration between thanks and userpoints module

I can't get the patch to take. I just get an error. I wound up doing it by hand, no patch.
