I would very much like a selection rule that could determine if one term is a child term of another term. For example: is this apple term page a child of the fruit term page?

In other words, I would like to specify the tid (or term name) of a specific term in my vocabulary, and be able to determine if that term is a parent of the term being viewed.

Contrary to it's name, the "Taxonomy: term parent" selection rule only checks if the term has a parent, not if it has a specific parent.

See #1327006: Clarify "Taxonomy: parent term" vs "Taxonomy: term has parent(s)" in UI for a request to rename the current selection rule.

Looks like this is already done in D7. Just needs a backport to D6.
