I have installed the module Nodes in Block, enabled the module, ticked the permissions, but when I try to go and administer the settings, I cannot find anything under structure.
I go to "administer -> structure -> nodesinblock"
but there is NO nodesinblock listed.

Please help, how do I get it to show?
Am I looking in the right place? Is there anywhere else I can edit the settings?

(I am using Drupal 7.9)

The nodesinblock will list the nodes once you have created them.

Go to Structure -> Content types and create a new content type that will define the nodes that you want to be included in blocks.

Go to Structure -> Nodes in Block:

  • Choose how many blocks you want (you can change this setting in the future)
  • Under 'Content types' tick the name of the new content type you just created
  • Press save and scroll down the page again as new configuration settings will have appeared
  • Under the section Settings per content type - you will see there as many blocks as you requested on the first step. Tick all of them.

Go to Content -> Create Content -> Choose to create content of the new content type you created above

Got to Structure -> Nodes in blocks and choose the tab called Queue. Your node should be listed there.

Go to Structure -> Blocks and look for the new blocks created for you.
