Rounded corners does not work. Also, one of the features is missing a description.

I stumbled onto this issue because I couldn't get rounded corners working either, until I found this blog article that explained that rounded corners only work on PNGs: http://pdelsignore.posterous.com/rounded-corners-with-images-in-drupal

AS far as I can see, rounded corners does work. Note that it works by using transparency in the corners. so you indeed will also need to add the "Change file format" effect to your image style.
