Hello there, is there any known way to have the Read More link when the teasear is actually different than the body?

I have some fields hidden on the teaser and others trimmed, so I guess the cck module should flag the $node->readmore variable on this sceneraios but that's not happening, I was thinking of submitting a patch for it, but I was wondering if there is already a workaround out there.

I got here: http://drupal.org/node/106951 after searching and reading other posts, but there referes for a fix for cck in 4.7.x scenario and with new 5.x that should not be necessary although I guess i can do the contemplates fix, I prefer not to...

Any ideas?
