Already started on it
I've been working on an AdSense API module for Drupal with Google. I haven't made it public yet as Google hasn't made the API completely public yet (you have to apply and only a few sites have been selected for it, and they have to approve your implementation), but it sounds like Google's future plans for it would make the current revenue sharing piece in the AdSense module unable to function. Once this API becomes more publicly accessible, they want to discourage users from being able to copy/paste in their AdSense ID and force sites to use the API to create the association instead.
I'm hoping to possibly add my code to the AdSense module itself, but I'm still working on implementing it and learning more from Google as we move forward with our implementation. Right now I've coded my solution as an external module, but it might be worth adding to the existing AdSense module if Google does end up preventing the current revenue sharing solution from working.

as everything google it starts with some testers then everyone will be accepted .. remember adsense itself , analytics , gmail .. everything they offer
it would be of much more help if it could be part of AdSense module we already have focusing on the referral revenue is worthy too according to their revenue scheme but it might not of function for everyone and for somesites i have - talking about myself - ... but i don't think they will end up preventing the revenue sharing function , for sure they won't prevent thousands of AdSensers from giving google extra few zeros on the right side of google monthly profits .. money talks for them ;-)
