Hi,
I tried an installation of ImageMagick on a distant website and I got this error installing message :
imagemagick
Error installing / updating
File Transfer failed, reason: Cannot create directory /sites/all/modules
Is it a permission problem? any advice how to resolve it?
Thank you

gdl commentedHi!
Without more information, I'd take a wild guess that was because you were trying to install the ImageMagick module to the absolute "/sites/all/modules" directory, not the "sites/all/modules" directory within your installation of Drupal.
This doesn't sound like an ImageMagick specific problem, though, so I'm going to suggest that you review the Drupal installation documentation to make sure that you've got everything - including the permissions - set up correctly, and then refer you to the usual places for more help. I'd also recommend that you provide a bit more information when asking for help as well, specifically, the steps you took to try to install the ImageMagick module, e.g. "I clicked on the 'Install new module' link on the Module administration page".
Best,
-G
