Just launched: Argentinean art news and reviews, plus a large exhibitions database, with a rather minimalist two-color theme:

http://ramona.org.ar

It’s done on Drupal 5.0.

Almost all the image uploading and displaying is managed by the wonderful node_images module, which I highly recommend.

I also used:

  • JSCalendar
  • BUEditor
  • Feedback
  • Voting API

And a dozen custom-made modules, including ten different content types. All of them hard coded (no Views, no CCK).

The theme is also, naturally, a custom development, remotely based on Bluemarine.

Hope ya like it!! Comments welcome!

I liked the minimalist look, cool and clean layout
how did you get the block regions disappear when you get full node?
Did you use views or Panels module?

No modules, just templates for everything. I created special templates for most of the content types.
phptemplate engine makes it easy - you just have to name your tpl.php files the right way, and you are done!
