Hi,

Appologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I am amazed at drupal - I have been playing with it for 5 hours now but I am having major problems with the organic groups module. The problem I am having is when I install the module, there is not option for my users to start a group. All I and other users can see are the groups, my groups with only a search button.

I have looked through the module and believe I have configured everything correctly. Could someone please advise me on this

It should be under the "create content" tab, did you look there?

That's often not intuitive or user friendly, so I know many people just manually create a link or block somewhere else.

Groups -OG for 5x provides only "River of News" as the option.
Any idea how to have the other option "list view" as we used to have in 4.7.x ?

Yes I looked there but its not there as an option. I followed all the steps but still, its not there :)

I wonder if its conflicting with another module

I wonder what OG users from 4.7x && using "list view" options are doing to tackle
this situation in OG 5x ...... the OG module forum seems to be non-responsive
and its rather awkard that in settings menu under admin with radio-button you have only one option, which almost makes the presence of radio-button meaningless :-(

Please let know if you find any workaround.
