It would be very useful to have a list of the features not yet working (such as RSS feeds) in version 5. It would save a lot of time trying to fix features that don't yet work.

adding to the list:

documentation does not exist
readme.txt not updated for 5.x
google's gmarker manager

to be fair, 5.x is still development status.

what i have got working are:

installing the gmap module
enabling the gmap module
giving users access to the gmap module
enabling gmap for the input format
configuring the gmap module
build a gmap macro
creating a new page and inserting the gmap macro

Closing, this issue is out of date... WMS is the only thing left, and I moved responsibility out to gmap_overlays.module (in gmap_addons)
