I'm confused why this module is needed in UC3? Since you can hide any field, create any field, and even show different fields for different roles I was wondering why this module needs a D7 branch.

All you have to do is hide the price fields and create some new fields and display them for certain roles and you end up with what the project page says this module does.

I'm sure there's some extra features this module offers so maybe just an update on the project page to outline them would be needed. Thanks.

Could you provide more details on how to show different fields for different roles? I was unaware of this feature, and am having trouble finding it in the store settings.
