We are using Workbench for a project at Red Hat and have for the most part successfully managed to deploy config changes for most our modules across multiple environments with the help of Features. From what I can tell, Workbench does not currently support this. Are there any plans to make workbench configurations exportable through Features?

That is being discussed in workbench moderation. #1314508: Make states/transitions exportable with the Features module I don't think there is anything to export from the main workbench module.
