Hi,
This is my first post so I'll try my best to be as clear as possible.
I'm at the stage where I can log in via Google and I see a new Drupal account created successfully. I decided to test out my other social accounts and both Facebook/Twitter returned me to the user registration page with the following message:
Although we have verified your account, Facebook did not provide us with your e-mail address. Please enter one below to complete your registration. (If you've previously registered with us, please log in and add your Facebook account under "Linked accounts.")
I've done a bit of search and found some people have had this problem and latest was earlier this year which alluded to a fix however I find this hasn't been fixed.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Whether it's something I've missed in configuring the module or if this is a genuine bug.
Just to clarify, my google log in works as expected.
Regards
Steve

geokat commentedHi Steve,
You can use the rpxnow.com dashboard (Resources->Test Sign-In Widget) to check if Facebook returns email address for your account.
Cheers,
George

Thanks for the pointer to test the widget, very useful.
I tested both facebook/twitter and the response did not contain an email address. Is it supposed to?

geokat commentedHi Steve,
When you configure Facebook (app key and secret) make sure the "request email" checkbox is checked.
And Twitter currently does not return an email address.
Cheers,
George

darshanchoudhary commentedHello,
I can confirm the same issue happening with me.
I am using linkedin as a provider for users to register, but as they logging by their LinkedIn account this is what is coming up:
Although we have verified your account, LinkedIn did not provide us with your e-mail address. Please enter one below to complete your registration. (If you've previously registered with us, please log in and add your LinkedIn account under "Linked accounts.")
