Any news on this? I am also not seeing any next or prev buttons in what is supposed to be a slideshow.

7.x-1.1 used to have the 'Image field options' section at the top of the Colorbox admin page, and selecting:

Image field gallery > Per page gallery

would show the next & prev controls as expected but this area is now gone in 7.x-1.2. I hope 7.x-1.3 fixes this.

Haven't found a resolution to this. Each time I've gone from 7.x-1.1 to 7.2-1.2, the buttons for the slideshow in a gallery are gone. Am using Shadowbox now which gives more control over the appearance and features.

Colorbox options for image fields is per field now, so a lot more flexible than the old global settings.

Go to "/admin/structure/types" and click "manage display" for the content type in question.
