It seems there are no issues in the queue similar to this one, so I gather it's OK I open a new:

I have installed the latest dev version of 7x.1x-dev. Permissions are correct.
Somehow it fails to display in the Administration interface. I have made searches in the database, and can see tables and entries that verifies the installation. But where is my admin interface?

Does anyone have an idea?

Well, ... now it suddenly works ?!?!

For no reason at all, I can suddenly see the Strings Override in Configuration. Lovely, but I have no possible explanation to shed light on this.
I'll close the case.
