While viewing a forum, the icon in front of a thread title never changes. It always points to "/modules/uieforum/uie/forum-default.png", instead of "forum-new.png" or "forum-sticky.png", for instance.

daniel.hunt commentedInteresting - thanks for the headsup

daniel.hunt commentedI can't recreate this problem, and it appears to work perfectly in every test case I've done :/
I'm marking this as "wont' fix" unless someone can reproduce the problem

Qui.dormit.non.peccet commentedSorry to do this to ya Daniel - but I get the same issue.
The attached screenshot details:
Test A - Just ment to be a new post
Test B - Should be sticky icon'd
Test C - Locked (works for me)
Test D - Hot topic (works (default threshhold, dunno about custom)) but in this case should be forum-hot-new
All posts created by a user A and logged in/Screenshott-ed as a user B.
Info:
UIE Module: Vanilla setup of latest HEAD ver. as of post-time, in sites/all/modules (with icons paths corrected)
Browser(s): Tested initally in FireFox 1.5.0.11 & then in IE 6.0.2900 - same result
Main admin made test postings
2ndary admin used to view results (and screenshot)
Newly created regular user recieves same result as 2ndary admin
Anonymous user recieves the same results as 2ndary admin
Also posted as regular user and logged in as admin user - no new post/sticky icons
I wonder what the ratio of people-who-it-works-for as compared to those-it-doesn't is. I must be honest, I swear on an earlier version they worked.

daniel.hunt commentedAh now come on - what the hell's going on here? :)
Could you check your uieforum settings and just double check that the path to the icons is right - and that that path actually has all of the icons that it should?
Qui.dormit.non.peccet commentedSorry, yeah they are the correct paths, and it does have all the correct icons.
(if the path was wrong wouldn't display any anyway eh? ;P hehe)
Any chance (since the majority of problems are new-icon related) that it's another fun date/time issue?
Any other info ya need just ask.
daniel.hunt commentedHmm. What timezone is your server in?
Qui.dormit.non.peccet commentedGMT+12
I was just thinking this could be an issue as I'm sure I read somewhere else having issues with this.
Setting it to GMT-12 Produces:
New Regular Posts show new icon
New Hot Topic Posts show new hot topic icon
Sticky icon's still don't show, unless it's just a simple 'new' icon

Qui.dormit.non.peccet commentedOh, and just FYI: all my test users have used default drupal user settings timezone of +0000
Comment #9
daniel.hunt commentedThat bloody timezone issue is really getting to me...
I'm going to sort it out once and for all this week. Stupid bug :)
Thanks!
Daniel

dimitris_s commentedI' m experiencing the same problem. I tried everything but didn't work. Is there a solution to this already ? :)
daniel.hunt commentedI'm pretty certain that this has been fixed now. If not, then let me know.
The changes probably won't come up until the next tar-run later on tonight.
