I'm looking for a way to set up an image gallery on my site that functions the way google images does. The images just show up in a grid, but when you hover over them, they expand to a bit larger, and have some detailed information displayed below them. Any thoughts on that?

Views and Lightbox perhaps
It sounds like views is the thing to use for the grid and perhaps lightbox can help with the increase in size. The views grid doesn't fit together beautifully like google by default and Im not sure how far you can take custom themeing for that. Lightbox is usually take effect when you click it, but there might be some info for others wanting a rollover effect.
This is really just a starting point. It's where I would play around to begin. Sorry I can' offer more.
If you get it working the way your explaining please send me a msg. I would like to see it and I would be interested in implementing this kind of feature myself.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks for the suggestions! Lightbox isn't really what I'm looking for, but I'm working on some custom coding, I'll let you know if/when I come up with anything good.
Progress?
How did your custom module work out - were you able to make this happen? I'm very interested in hearing about your experiences.
Thanks!
