drop shadow action

Is it possible, that imagecache could provide a 'drop shadow' action? I don't know which image manipulation library you use to do the resize, scale and crop operations, but maybe that library also offers an operation to add a nice drop shadow to an image??? I just know that adding a nice drop shadow using the ImageMagick library is very simple.
