HI-
I am integrating WebCalender into my Drupal site (drupal 5.x with appropriate webcal module). I am debating whether to try to figure out how to keep WebCalendar in as an iframe or whether I am going to have to figure out how to fake my Drupal header, navigation and footer and link directly to WebCalendar (with the webcal integration). I prefer the frame (less work), but I am realizing that has some major shortcomings when it comes to email notifications and when using upcoming.php. Both have links to view_entry.php that land you outside of your site (they obviously do not call webcal), and without fake headers and footers, no way to get back in.
Is there a hack in WebCalendar that I can do to prevent this from happening? If so, how? I have figured out where upcoming.php builds the link, but I am not sure how to call webcal AND get the entry of the event to show up in my site within the webcal iframe. I have not found where email notifications build their links or how I would even begin to hack that as well.
Second issue: I am having a problem with Public Access events being available to anonymous users. One can see the calendar, see the event link, but when an anonymous user clicks on it, one gets "You are not authorized". I have anonymous user with webcal access. Why would this user not be able to view event details? I have every setting I can think of in WebCalendar (even some I would prefer off, like public access can edit entries), and no luck. Could this be some weird translation in permissions via webcal?
Third issue: I set my members to have webcal access and webcal login, and none of them can see the Public Access calendar, even when I link directly to it. When I give my members webcal admin, they can see it. Why would webcal login prevent my members from seeing the public access calendar?
Any input on any of these would be appreciated.
Thanks.

kgriffin commentedAccess issues fixed by downloading new webcalendar files.

jaredwiltshire commentedGood luck with that. I did look at doing this, but it wasn't a practical approach.

kgriffin commentedThe permissions issues I figured out...a while ago, so I don't remember exactly what was going on. I ended up using the custom header and trailer in WebCalendar to "fake" the drupal site...this is a messy solution, but at this point, the only one available.
