This module grabs and calculates the total pageviews for a given node and updates the node_counter table with that value. However, it does not do this for the daycount.

So far as I can tell, this is still a problem, and the patch obviously doesn't work anymore.

Its still a problem, I really want to know which is the most visited contents on my site, the total number isn't too useful for me. Anybody has any idea for it?

Because of the Universal Analytics shutdown, version 7.x-3.x is no longer supported.
As Drupal 7 EOL is close, please consider upgrading to the latest Drupal and latest version of this module with Google Analytics 4 support.
If you are still here and experiencing problems with the latest version using GA4, then please open an issue about it.
