The profile pages - those without actual comments - are full of stuff going back years, we'd never end cleaning that lot by hand.
I won't continue unless we have another tool to help that.

dman, where do you see such profile pages? all I can find are empty pages (see linked issue)

nm, I found quite a few (and also blocked some).

previous to bakery, I used to block these wholesale in the database. This would now leave open any potential spam they have in profiles on subsites, so it is no longer an option.

Suggestions welcome.

I can produce lists of non-.blocked accounts that have certain keywords in their name with direct links to the profile edit page.
There are like 300 of them for %porn% and over 1000 for %hentai% though. Also, not all of these have to be illegitimate, IIRC "porn" is a syllable that occurs in names somewhere, so they'd need to be manually checked...

Yeah, you can turn up a lot by just guessing keywords that someone has listed in their interests (eg "ugg") and finding others who did the same, and investigating them with suspicion turned up high.
But it's a lucky-dip, and time consuming that way.
So, if they are to be truly cleaned up, it'll have to be from the back-end, I think
