If anyones drupal site has stopped today (4th april) check your diggthis module

Hiya, just a quick warning for anyone whose site (or just part of it) has just stopped working today.

If you can try and disable your diggthis module. I've not got to the bottom of it, but every page with this on hung (like a donkey).

Switching off resolved the issue.

same here.

I was getting duplicate entry and lost connection to mysql errors on every post. some node types were ok (but these didn't have diggthis applied). I tried some things from other posts after searching for the lost connection & duplicate entries messages and still had the problem (emptying the cache & sessions tables, checking if it happened after a cron task). so I disabled all but the default modules and the site was ok again so started enabling modules again and found that diggthis was the problem. I think I've had it for a while after checking the logs - hadn't had time to monitor/maintain the site in a while.

Duplicate entry 'c28a43656b594bc071e14f6bce75b5f8' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO sessions (sid, uid, cache, hostname, session, timestamp) VALUES ('c28a43656b594bc071e14f6bce75b5f8', 1, 1176121701, '203.167.201.94', 'watchdog_overview_filter|s:3:\"all\";', 1176123293) in /-path-/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 121.

Lost connection to MySQL server during query query: SELECT sid FROM sessions WHERE sid = 'c28a43656b594bc071e14f6bce75b5f8' in /-path-/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 121.

I had exactly the same problem. Disabling the diggthis module brought every thing back to normal. Any clues why this happened/happening? Love the functionality.

Please tell me which version of diggthis and Drupal you are using. The release for Drupal 4.7 is a development release not for production sites.

I just released a stable version of the diggthis module for Drupal 4.7.x. Please replace the development version with the stable release to get rid of the problems described.
