FYI, the deadline for the initial presentation outline is 20th December and the first speaker training is week of the 5th Dec.
So this needs to get done next week, please.
thanks
ok by me. but let's encourage uploads instead, so they remain only visible to track chairs. We don't want random people interfering and commenting. if needed, they add it to the body.
the current description says: "Upload your slides here as a PDF, or link to them from the description. (This is typically done after your session.)"
I think it should rather say something like: "Please upload your outlines/slides here as a PDF during the session preparation. You can also link to them from the description. (This is typically done after your session.)"

coltraneRather than adding another module (link) let's just ask people to paste the link to their slides in the body of the node. Okay by you, Isabell?

sirkitree commentedHow do we want to encourage this? Should I put something to the effect of, "If you have slides, please link to them in the body of your session?"

coltraneThe upload field and the slide link field are going to be used by the track chairs for speakers making materials deadlines.
Need to add link textfield and allow only session organizer role (and node author) to view.
