I have set my teaser lengths to 200 characters in admin admin/content/node-settings

but i still have teasers that are extremely long at this
page :

http://www.opensourcecinema.org/consume

is there another setting? My views settings specify returning as teasers - anything i might be missing? I've tried modifying the post, as well, as the node-settings specifies that this only applies to new or modified posts, but im stumpled.

I saw that problem and I've solved editing and saving again the post. You can try using the <--break--> tag and cut your teaser as you wish.

As the site is based on user generated content - they wont know to insert it.

I've tried the edit and repost option - doesn't seem to take.
