Anyone knows how to hide the links "my discussion" and "active discussion" on the forum node in order to show only "Post new forum topic." just as in the drupal.org forum page?
Thanks in advance!

you will need to override the theme_forum_display function in your template.php file. The links are added there.

what if I delete or comment the following lines from forum.module:

if (module_exist('tracker')) {
      if ($user->uid) {
      $output .= ' <li>'. l(t('My discussions.'), "tracker/$user->uid") .'</li>';
    }

      $output .= ' <li>'. l(t('Active discussions.'), 'tracker') .'</li>';
      }

Of course, not knowing anything of php I haven't even tried yet, but I've seen that in Drupal 5.x these lines do not exist (I'm using 4.7)

take the function, put in a template.php file in your themes folder and rename it to yourthemename_forum_display(). then delete the lines you mentioned and you are safe for any update that might come.

thanks, I appreciate your help but I really don't understand exactly.
What should it be the extension of the "yourthemename_forum_display()" file?

in the forum module you will find its theme function you can pull copy this from the forum module and rename it

YOURTHEME_forum_display where YOURTHEME is the name of the theme you are using. if using bluemarine than it would be bluemarine_forum_display
