I found out that switching theme developer on caused a bug to the Date module, causing it to repeat it's starting date (while using the date field) even though the 'show end date' option is turned off.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Incorrect behavior of the Date module:
Wednesday, November 23, 2011 to Wednesday, November 23, 2011

I can't reproduce with the latest dev-version. I'm getting the correct behaviour with and without theme developer. Feel free to reopen if the latest version doesn't fix this for you.
