Is there a way/module/plugin to order your blog entries in a customised way, just as like you can order your menu-items (by adding a weight to them)?

Nodes don't have weight on a listing page. But, there are two options you can use.

First, there are stickies. This is in the publishing options for a node. Something sticky sticks to the top of the list.

Second, you can use views to create different ordering schemes.

Weights don't exist at the moment but have been talked about as a possibility for drupal 6. So, it may be in drupal in the not to distant future. Or not.
