blocks on sections

I think Sections could be a big help for sites that want lots of custom blocks. I'm not sure if I fully understand the blocks situation with sections, but I'd like to be able to use check boxes to decide which blocks show up in which sections rather than always defining the path. I think that option is great but can get clunky click when you have a block you want in several categories, but not all.
