I was going to file a bug but its fixed in dev, so here's some ideas to expand this

Great work. I look forward to seeing more progress on this module.

I would love to see it generate tasks for the promisers by tying into a tasklist/event module of some kind with tracking of who completes the action.

Also I want to see Userpoints award points to users for promising.

Maybe we could get Invite module to be extensible to other kinds of things besides just site memberships like getting people to promise.
