assign content from other domains

We are going to have a multsite setup where one each site will have distinct content. But there will be cases where content needs to be shared between sites (obviously).

Is it possible for a site admin to view another site's content and then check a box to have them also use that content? They should NOT be able to edit or delete that content, just use it.

If they want their own copy of the content, they can clone it
