Is there a module or feature to make a post display at a later day? I tried to change the Authoring Information but that does not work.

scheduler module? been looking at it myself, but have not taken it out for the ride yet.

The scheduler module does exactly what you are looking for.
The only requirement is that cron is active on your system.
