code in admin.inc triggers openbasedir exception

In admin.inc, line 133 and ff, $meth['path'] seems to return a basically correct but relative path,
and this gets caught by PHP's openbasedir checks.
Philosophical usage issues aside, the attached patch fixed the problem for me.
